Here's the deal for Saturday 8th Dec

All is set for next Sat. It's come round a bit quick!

We're meeting up in the same room in the Link Centre at 11am. Partners and children are invited but will be amusing themselves elsewhere till 1pm. The purpose of the meeting is to tie down what each dad wants to say in the film and to see whether there are any general themes to pick up on. We also need to work out which dad needs filming at home and when this can be done.

Lunch will be at 1pm as before when partners will join us and then we'll go off to the Oasis for a filming session which is due to start at 2.30pm and should last till 3.30p

Hi there folks, will be great to catch up with everybody again on Saturday. Can't believe its come around so fast.

Been looking at the agenda abut the filming and thught it might be a good idea to start banding a few ideas about what sort of things yu want the film should include.

Thought if we could use this blog to get the ball rolling a bit so we could get a bit of a head start for Saturday.

i know everyone has their own experiences and and stories to tell and it'll be great to get those messages accross in the film.

Good idea - it'd be great to do a quick round from everyone, if there's another question to prompt... The one at the first meeting was great when everyone spoke about how they'd felt finding out for the first time that they're a dad. Maybe we could carry that on to the best/hardest bits about pregnancy, or to the birth?

Hi everyone, Saturday is a big day for all of us. We have a lot to do but I am so confident that I’d bet my life on it that we can show the UK we are great dads.

PS Hi Jackie, have you got any more info on Alex so that I can raise it during the meeting?

Looks like the following people will be coming:
Gareth with Dylan
John with Rhys
Darren
Marcus and Charlotte
Steven
Den and Lisa with Max
Brett and April with Harvey
Rob and Terri with Cameron and Dylan
Mark and Jenny
Charlie and Kae with Harry

Then there's Jackie, Kevin and Mike, and Steve. Who's Steve?? He is doing some research into the transition from a young dad-to-be to becoming a dad, with all the delights of nappy-changing and sleepless nights. He's interviewed 5 U-Too dads-to-be and will let us know what he's found out so far.
